Our Outreach Ministry exists to share the love of Jesus Christ beyond the walls of the church and into the heart of our community. We believe the church is called to be the hands and feet of Christ, reaching people with compassion, prayer, and genuine care. Through intentional outreach, we seek to bring hope, encouragement, and the message of God’s love to individuals and families in practical and meaningful ways. One of the key expressions of our outreach is our monthly visit to Sarah Brayton Nursing Home. On the first Sunday of every month at 2:00 PM, our team gathers to spend time with residents through worship, prayer, Scripture, and fellowship. These visits are a powerful reminder that every person matters to God, regardless of age or circumstance. We aim to uplift, encourage, and remind residents that they are deeply loved, valued, and not forgotten. Many of these moments create lasting connections, bringing comfort, joy, and spiritual strength to both residents and volunteers. In addition to nursing home ministry, we come together as a church family for a Prayer Walk across the city on the last Saturday of every month. During these prayer walks, we unite in faith to intercede for our neighborhoods, schools, families, leaders, and local needs. As we walk, we pray for peace, healing, salvation, and God’s guidance over our city. This act of walking and praying allows us to be spiritually attentive to our surroundings and responsive to the needs of our community. Our Outreach Ministry is open to everyone who has a heart to serve and pray. Whether through visiting, walking, praying, or simply being present, each person can make a meaningful impact. We believe that small acts of faith, done consistently, can bring powerful transformation. Together, we strive to reflect Christ’s love, share His hope, and be a blessing to our community—one prayer, one visit, and one step at a time.
